Immune system support nutrients
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to normal collagen formation. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Both nutrients come from recognisable sources commonly found in everyday diets - citrus fruits for vitamin C and whole grains for zinc.
Energy metabolism nutrients
Vitamins B12 and B6 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, to electrolyte balance and to the reduction of tiredness.
These nutrients are found in seeds, whole grains, nuts and leafy vegetables - everyday kitchen staples used as reference sources.
